Dental Crowns

Dental crowns are a type of dental restoration that covers a damaged or decayed tooth. The process of getting a dental crown involves two appointments that include several steps. In the first appointment, the tooth is prepared, an impression is taken, and a temporary crown is placed.  The impression is then sent to the lab where the permanent one is being made. Once the permanent crown is ready, it is cemented onto the tooth to restore its shape, size, and strength.
